A couple of primetime matchups are on the NBA playoff schedule for May 7 with two more Round 2 Game 2s.
The night features the No. 1 seeds taking on the No. 4 seeds in each conference.
First is the Detroit Pistons playing host to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference.
Prime Video will stream both games.
Both the No. 1 Pistons and No. 1 Thunder seek 2-0 starts to begin each of their series.
The Pistons haven’t lost in the playoffs since going down 3-1 to the Orlando Magic in the first round. They rattled off three straight victories to come back in that series and stayed hot to open the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Cavaliers when their depth was on display. The Cavaliers, winless on the road in the playoffs, will need to protect the ball better than it did in Game 1 when they had 20 turnovers it plans to even the series.
The Thunder, meanwhile, are the only team in the playoffs without a loss and continue to look every bit like the defending champions they are. OKC is the fifth reigning NBA champion in the last 30 years to begin the playoffs with five consecutive wins.
All five of the Thunder’s postseason victories – four in their first-round sweep over the Phoenix Suns and Game 1 in the West semis – have been by double figures. They also take a 5-0 regular season/playoff record against the Lakers into Game 2.
