Illustrated by Brent Schoonover and painted by Milwaukee artist Hannah Tews, the mural is the third installed as part of the Brewers’ #BeyondTheDiamond community engagement program. The first mural, “El Paletero,” was installed at the Heavy Hitters Athletic Facility, 415 S. Third St., in July 2024; the second, outside The Little Village Play Café at 6505 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa, was unveiled in August 2024.

Schoonover, who now lives in Minnesota, and Tews are both Milwaukee natives. Among Tews’ other works is “Mom,” another mural installed in Black Cat Alley in April.
