In April 2025, Adam was in contact with a 13 year-old minor in upstate New York according to the plea agreement. The agreement said that during their communication, Adam sent an explicit image to the child and requested and received explicit images of the child.

The plea agreement stipulated that the Adam cannot appeal his sentence once it is given. The maximum sentence for the charge is 20 years in prison, but the agreement stipulated a 5 to 10 year sentence.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Humble, said the state was not concerned about Adam being taken into custody following the plea, saying “he’s been compliant” since his first court appearance.

Following his first appearance in December, Adam has been on house arrest with a GPS device. Humble said Adam has medical complications which are a factor.

Adam is scheduled to return to court Sept. 30 for sentencing.
