Headlining the week is Tales from the Taproom, an adults-only (21-and-older) StorySlam at PetSkull Brewing Company on Thursday, April 30. The theme is “Say WHAAAT?!?”; sign-up starts at 5:30 p.m., with stories from 6 to 8 p.m.
Author event April 30: ‘Radio Starr’ with Lisa Lehmann
Sheboygan author Lisa Lehmann will discuss her 1980s Wisconsin-set novel “Radio Starr” from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in the second-floor board room. Books will be available for purchase.
On display through May 30: WOMT 100 radio exhibit
A historic radio showcase from the collection of Manitowoc resident Steve Kanter is on display through Saturday, May 30, on the first floor near the main service desk.
Through May 1: Make Your Mark & Share Your Art
Pick up free blank bookmarks (while supplies last) to decorate and share through Friday, May 1. Optional returns are accepted by May 22 for summer reading giveaways.

Early literacy story time for developmental ages 2-5 meets at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23; Wednesday, April 29; and Thursday, April 30. Children younger than 8 must attend with an adult.
April 23: ‘MPL Insider’ online episode on WOMT 100
A special online episode runs noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, featuring guests discussing WOMT’s 100th anniversary and the library exhibit.
April 27: Free blood pressure screening
Froedtert Holy Family Memorial volunteers will offer screenings from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 27, on the first floor near the main service desk.
Tuesdays in April: DWD employment assistance and career counseling
Walk-in help with resumes, applications and Job Center of Wisconsin is available Tuesdays in April, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Franklin Street Room.
