A sign posted on the door confirmed the closure of the Neenah location. “This is permanent as of 4/13/2025 @ 4:00 pm,” the sign reads.

Despite the sign, the business served customers up to at least early July.

A receipt was obtained by the Appleton Post-Crescent reflecting a transaction from the establishment at 3:57 p.m. July 4.

The KFC Neenah Facebook page had posts up till July 15.

Currently, only one KFC is still open in the Fox Cities, 1195 Valley Road in Menasha.

Another KFC in Appleton, 111 E. Wisconsin Ave., closed in December 2023.
