Here’s where you can find a free Thanksgiving meal in the Marshfield area

Many central Wisconsin residents will gather Nov. 27 to celebrate Thanksgiving with food and fun. People who may not be able to afford a full Thanksgiving meal for their family will find many local organizations willing to help fill a gap.

American Legion Hall Post 54, 2100 S. Maple Ave. Marshfield

American Legion Post 54 is offering “a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings,” for free to all Marshfield area residents in need between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 27. Call 715-384-9670 before Nov. 25 to schedule a delivered meal. Donations of money and turkeys are appreciated. More information can be found on American Legion Post 54’s website, https://marshfieldpost54wi.org.    

Crossroads Church, 5467 First Ave., Pittsville

A Thanksgiving meal is available for dine in, take out or delivery to those in need between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 27. Delivery to areas around Pittsville, Vesper and Arpin must be scheduled by Nov. 24 by contacting the church at 715-884-2665 or office@crossroads-pittsville.com. More information can be found on the 211 Wisconsin listing for the event.

Christ Lutheran Church, 308 W. Linden St., Abbotsford

Christ Lutheran Church is offering a Thanksgiving dinner at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 27 to all Abbotsford area residents. Information about the event was shared on the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau Facebook page. Further information about the church can be found on its website.
