I like the idea of us having permanent daylight saving time (“Permanent daylight saving would bring 8:23 a.m. sunrises in Milwaukee,” July 22).
And I have an idea. Rather than having to go to school and work in the dark, kids and first shift workers could start their school and work days 60-90 minutes later during the winter months. Then during the spring months go back to heading to work an hour earlier. And we’d all still be able to enjoy an extra hour of daylight.
To me this would be a win-win!
