The financial tech company compared all U.S. counties across three metrics: investment income, property value and median income. Analysts used these categories to determine what areas of the country are accumulating the most wealth.

While being the wealthiest county in Wisconsin, Waukesha County also has the highest median income in the state at $104.100, according to Smartasset. St, Croix, located close to Twin Cities, has the second highest with $102,484, followed by Ozaukee County at $96,734.
What Wisconsin county has the highest investment income?
According to Smartasset, Ozaukee County has the highest investment income at $64,595, followed by Walworth County at $49,325 and Waukesha County at $40,171.
What Wisconsin county has the highest median home value?
Waukesha County also holds the highest median home value at $398, 813, followed closely by Ozaukee County at $398,291 and Dane County at $384,462.
What Wisconsin county has the lowest ranking in overall wealth?
Ashland County was ranked 72nd in overall wealth out of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, followed by Langlade and Rusk counties.
