MANITOWOC – Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure reached a fundraising milestone this year — giving away more than $1 million to recipients over 14 years of giving.
The nonprofit organization typically gives funding to people who have been diagnosed with one or multiple forms of cancer.

Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure, or Gumby’s Club, was formed in 2011 after Rob “Gumby” Roseff was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
That year, he gathered a group of friends to play golf in hopes of raising $250 to donate to a charity focused on cancer.
Since then, Gumby’s Club has been a staple in the community, raising and donating $1 million to people in the community.
Rob passed away in 2023, but the fundraisers continue.
Events are held throughout the year, but the main fundraising event — coined “Gumby’s Weekend,” includes activities such as a 5K Glow Run/Walk, bowling, golf, live music, food, games, silent auction and raffles.
The public was invited to a special presentation at noon July 13 at the Meadow Sports Complex, 1540 Johnson Drive.
