Beaver Dam woman involved in crash with semi dies, sheriff IDs her

OAK GROVE – A 46-year-old Beaver Dam woman who was critically injured in a crash with a semi-truck in the town of Oak Grove Jan. 29 has died.

Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said Keasha Altman died at the hospital Jan. 30 as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash. The driver of the semi, a 63-year-old Oshkosh man, was not hurt.

The sheriff’s office said Jan. 30 the crash was still under investigation.

The crash happened around 12:50 p.m. Jan. 29 at County S and Main Street Road. According to the sheriff’s office, investigators believe Altman, driving a 2003 Honda Civic, failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by an eastbound semi‑truck. She was airlifted to Aurora Medical Center – Summit, where she died.
