The closest Gene Simmons has been to Green Bay in the last couple of years was up north in Forest County, but the KISS legend is making it all the way to Ashwaubenon this time around.
He’ll perform with the Gene Simmons Band on Nov. 5 at EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. June 5 at etix.com. Prices are $68.28 general admission, $99.23 standing room mezzanine and $130.18 reserved seated mezzanine.
The 76-year-old bassist and vocalist and his band are playing sporadic dates June through August, including a July 3 stop at Summerfest in Milwaukee, before launching a Canadian tour Nov. 30.
Simmons was in full “The Demon” mode as KISS caused quite a buzz in Wisconsin’s northwoods when it played Crandon International Raceway in September 2023 for a stop on the band’s End of the Road World Tour. On the same day, he and bandmate Paul Stanley stopped by Potawatomi Casino Hotel Carter in Wabeno for the groundbreaking of a Rock & Brews restaurant in the franchise the two co-founded. In July 2024, Simmons returned solo to celebrate the restaurant’s grand opening.
He won’t be the first original member of KISS to play EPIC Event Center, which celebrated its fifth anniversary in April. The late Ace Frehley played the venue in 2022.
