MADISON – Nineteen players are expected to make official visits to the Wisconsin football program this weekend.
The group, however, already has a Badger feel to it.
Thirteen of those players already have committed to UW. The list includes each of the nine in-state recruits who have helped the class rank among the top quarter of the country.
That leaves six others who Luke Fickell and his staff will continue to sell on the virtues of making a commitment.
Here is a look at the targets expected to be in town.
Safety Royalton Allen
The 6-foot, 180-pound performer from Oak Hills, California, is a one-time UCLA recruit – he decommitted Dec. 6 – who is considered a three-star prospect by Rivals/On3 and 247sports. He announced his offer from Wisconsin on May 19. Last week, he listed the Badgers among his top-five schools. That list also included Colorado State, BYU, North Carolina and Vanderbilt. He plans to announce his commitment July 15.
Outside linebacker Darin Graham Jr.
The 6-5, 224-pound standout comes from Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, the same program that produced UW running back Darrion Dupree. He is considered a three-star prospect by 247sports and Rivals/On3. On May 26, he announced the Badgers were among his top-three schools along with Mississippi and Purdue.
Reciever/defensive back Jai Jones
Jones, who is from Chandler, Arizona, is listed as a four-star recruit by Rivals/On3 and 247sports and he has the potential to be a Power Four player on either side of the ball. He has announced 26 Division I offers that include 17 from Power Four programs. Big Ten rivals Oregon, Washington, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota and UCLA have offered in addition to Wisconsin.
Outside linebacker Nate Jones
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound edge rusher comes from the same high school as sophomore linebacker Jon Jon Kamara, Desert Edge in Goodyear, Arizona. Jones has announced 15 offers on Instagram, the last coming from Wisconsin on May 8. Five other Power Four programs have offered: North Carolina, Florida State, Baylor, Kansas State and Arizona.
Receiver Tavares “TJ” Powell
The 6-foot, 170-pound standout from Bradenton, Florida, is a consensus three-star prospect who has 23 Division I offers. He announced his offer from UW on March 20. The Badgers are one of nine Power Four offers.
Defensive back Mekhi Williams
The consensus four-star prospect is 6-2 and about 165 pounds. He committed to Florida State in March 2025 and is still a Seminoles recruit. That hasn’t prevented Williams from continuing to consider his options. According to 247sports, he has official visits scheduled for Florida State, Nebraska and LSU.
