International Day of Potato
The Food + Farm Exploration Center will host an International Day of Potato Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30 at 3400 Innovation Drive in Plover. The event is free for members and is included in the cost of general admission for those visiting the center. Guests can enjoy free chips, collect potato character stickers, check out potato-themed food creations, participate in potato-themed activities at hands-on stations, enjoy potato doughnuts and more. Roller Derby
Mid-State Roller Derby will host its season opener at 4:30 p.m. May 30 at the KB Willett Arena, 1000 Minnesota Ave. in Stevens Point. Doors open at 4 p.m. for the first whistle at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with their ID. Children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Trivia Unplugged
Central Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity will host its third annual Trivia Unplugged fundraiser event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 30 at Springville Sports Barn, 2811 Plover Springs Drive in Plover. Jim Oliva and John Eckendorf will host the event that will include 18 questions per hour for a maximum 10 players per team. No electronics or reference materials are allowed.
