25 Manitowoc, Sheboygan boys wrestlers to watch at WIAA state tourney

The WIAA state boys wrestling tournament continues on Feb. 26 with the state tournament in Madison.

Here are the top 25 wrestlers to watch from Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties, in alphabetical order.

Starting this year, only the top-two finishers in each weight class at sectionals across all divisions advanced to the state tournament.

All rankings are as of Feb. 9 from Wisconsin Grappler.

Josh Anzia, jr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Anzia is ranked No. 12 in Division 3 at 215 pounds. He was the sectional champ at his weight.

Nolan Anzia, so., Cedar Grove-Belgium;

Anzia was the sectional crown winner at 150 at the D3 sectional in Cedar Grove-Belgium.

Sawyer Dailey, sr., Plymouth

Dailey, a sectional champ, checks in as the No. 2-ranked wrestler at 190 in Division 2.

Axel Dock, jr., Oostburg

Dock is 10th-ranked in D3 at 175.

Landen Fick, sr., Plymouth

Fick is ranked No. 5 at 144 in D2 and was a sectional champion.

Chase Heimerman, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Heimerman, a sectional champ, is the third-ranked wrestler at 113 in D3.

Landon Heimerman, so., Cedar Grove-Belgium

The younger Heimerman is No. 12 at 120 in D3.

Jack Kaczrowski, fr., Mishicot

The freshman is ranked at 113 in D3, checking in at No. 11.

Seth Kessen, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Kessen competed at the Cedar Grove-Belgium D3 sectional, winning the title at 126.

Brady Kienbaum, jr., Kiel

Kienbaum was the sectional champion at 157 at the Two Rivers D2 sectional.

Derek Klinkner, sr., Two Rivers

Klinkner is ranked 6th at 165 in D2 and won a sectional title.

Vince Knowles, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Knowles is the 13th-ranked wrestler at 144 in D3.

Connor Kruse , so., Plymouth

Kruse checks in at No. 13 in D2 at 138 and was a champion at sectionals.

Max Matthias, sr., Two Rivers

Matthias, the second-ranked wrestler at 215 in D2, won the sectional crown.

Carter McCall, so., Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah/Howards Grove

McCall is the 14th ranked wrestler in D2 at 106.

Vadim Misiura, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Misiura won the sectional title at 285 in Cedar Grove to advance to state.

Seth Race, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Race is the 3rd-ranked wrestler at 175 in D3 and he won sectional crown.

Liam Richards, jr., Oostburg

Richards, a sectional champion, checks in as the second-ranked wrestler in D3 at 165.

Owen Schacht, jr., Mishicot

Schacht is top-ranked at 190 in D3 and won the sectional title.

Logan Schad, jr., Kiel

Schad, a sectional champ, is No. 3 in D2 at 132.

Sterling Schanen, fr., Ozaukee

The freshman is ranked No. 4 at 106 in D3, he took home the sectional.

Caleb Schreiber, jr., Random Lake

Schreiber, a sectional title winner, checks is at No. 11 in D3 at 120.

Simon Schwabe, jr., Random Lake

Schwabe is third-ranked at 190 in D3 and won the sectional crown.

Jeffrey Stefanich, so., Random Lake

The sophomore is No. 11 in D3 at 157.

Carson Stevens, jr., Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah/Howards Grove

Stevens was a sectional champion at 132 at the D2 Two Rivers sectional.

Tristen Verbeten, sr., Reedsville

Verbeten, who won a sectional title, competes at 165 in D3 and is ranked No. 6.

Carsen Voskuil, sr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

Voskuil checks in at No. 7 in D3 at 138 and won a sectional crown.
