The UTV was traveling east when it failed to negotiate a curve and crashed, authorities said.

Investigators said none of the four occupants was wearing a seat belt and one person was ejected. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, but the ejected occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.

The person who died was identified as Nicole Deaver, 40, of Fairwater, the sheriff’s office said.

The other occupants were injured, authorities said. Their conditions were not released.

Green Lake County sheriff’s deputies, Green Lake-Brooklyn first responders, Green Lake-Brooklyn Fire Department crews and Berlin-area EMS units from Green Lake, Berlin and Princeton responded, the release said. The Green Lake County medical examiner also was called to the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Green Lake County medical examiner’s office.
