Construction is underway at Abilene’s newest McDonald’s location, 6144 Buffalo Gap Road.
The 4,146 square foot restaurant is set to be completed by the beginning of October, according to a project document from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Construction on the new location began on April 6, according to the TDLR report.
This will be Abilene’s fifth McDonald’s branch in the city with one already existing location at 4302 Buffalo Gap Road, approximately 2.2 miles from the new building.
The new McDonald’s location is a $750,000 project and will feature McDonald’s new dual-lane drive-thru layout, according to the TDLR filings.
