A popular burrito shop is launching a new location in far East El Paso.
Burritos Crisostomo has become a favorite among locals looking for authentic Mexican burritos in El Paso and Juárez. With more than half a dozen locations on either side of the U.S.-Mexico border, the restaurant has become a staple for burrito aficionados.
The restaurant offers a variety of burritos, from chile relleno and barbacoa to lengua and chicharron, as well as refreshing beverages like horchata, jamaica and Mexican sodas.
Where is it?
The new Burritos Crisostomo location will be at 1395 North Zaragoza Road, according to the city’s permits and licensing page.
The new spot is located directly across the street from a shopping center that houses a Nationwide Insurance and Georges’ Chiropractic and Wellness Center, just down from Frontier Roofing Supply.
What was there before?
The new Burritos Crisostomo location is a new construction site being built atop a currently vacant lot, roughly 2,100 square feet.
The project will consist of a new building and associated land development.
Who is the contractor?
The contractor for the project is not listed on the city’s website, but the applicant is Carlos Villanueva with El Paso’s Complete Design and Drafting. The owner is listed as Anzures III LLC, also from El Paso.
The project is valued at $350,000.
