The Wolves entered the season ranked No. 2 in the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football rankings and have lived up their placement through two weeks.
2. Panhandle (2-0)
Last week: W, 61-19 vs. Stratford
This week: at Dalhart (1-1)
Led by Army commit Broxton Robinson, the Panthers have outscored opponents 132-19 in the first two weeks of the season.
3. Amarillo High (2-0)
Last week: W, 41-21 at San Angelo Central
This week: at Midland High (0-2)
The Sandies have taken down a pair of Class 6A opponents to start the season, beating each by at least 20 points.
4. Tascosa (2-0)
Last week: W, 53-3 vs. Wichita Falls Legacy
This week: at Midland High (0-2)
Led by Texas Tech pledge Krush Johnson, the Rebels’ defense has allowed just three points through two games.
5. Gruver (2-0)
Last week: W, 46-12 vs. Texhoma (OK)
This week: at West Texas (2-0)
After reaching the state semifinals in 2024, the Greyhounds opened the 2025 season with two big wins.
6. Randall (2-0)
Last week: W, 58-0 vs. Monahans
This week: vs. Perryton (1-1)
Senior quarterback Kaison Benton and the Raiders’ rushing attack has Randall’s offense humming.
7. Canadian (2-0)
Last week: W, 24-14 vs. Bushland
This week: vs. Dumas (2-0)
The Wildcats’ ground game has powered Andy Cavalier’s team to a pair of wins, but the group will be tested in Week 3 against Dumas.
8. Wellington (2-0)
Last week: W, 23-13 at Frederick (OK)
This week: vs. Dumas (2-0)
The Skyrockets finally get to play a home game in Week 3 after collecting two wins on the road to start the season.
9. Wheeler (2-0)
Last week: W, 55-6 at Morton
This week: vs. Hale Center (1-1)
The Mustangs’ rushing attack and stout defense has led Wheeler to a 2-0 record while allowing just six total points.
10. Dumas (2-0)
Last week: W, 51-6 at Borger
This week: at Canadian (2-0)
The Demons’ explosive offense has topped 50 points in each of its first two games this season, allowing only six points on defense.
