UTEP men’s basketball continued summer workouts at the Foster Stevens Basketball Center, offering an early look at a roster filled with 13 newcomers as the program begins preparations for the 2026-27 season.
Players took part in drills, scrimmage situations and skill work on Monday, June 15, under head coach Joe Golding and his staff as the team continued to work to build chemistry during the offseason.
The roster features new players who are expected to play key roles for UTEP in its first season of competition in the Mountain West Conference.
Among the newcomers on the roster are senior forward Augusto Cassia of Brazil, point guard Leif Möller of Germany, who transferred from Evansville, guard Donovan Criss, forward Isaiah Ward and center Delano Tarpley from William J. Brennan High School in San Antonio.
