The UTEP men’s basketball team finished their two-game tour of Juarez with a sweep, as a day after beating Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, the Miners beat the professional team Los Indios 118-78.
Jace Whiting scored 21 points in Tuesday’s win over the Indios, Leif Moeller added 18, and Isaiah Ward scored 10 points with 17 rebounds.
The games were played in UACJ’s gym and were added to the exhibition schedule last month. UTEP will be back in Mexico, though in a different part of it, when they head to Cancun over Thanksgiving for the Cancun Challenge.
