The arrival of the Final Four means the arrival of another key date in college basketball: the transfer portal opens.
That becomes official on Tuesday, the day after the men’s national championship game, when players can officially file their intentions to transfer to another school, and the portal stays open until April 21.
As of Friday, April 3, UTEP had 12 players with remaining eligibility and four of them announced their intentions to enter the portal.
