Texas A&M stock report, who shined in Saturday’s game against South Carolina

Texas A&M (10-0, 7-0 SEC) completed a huge comeback against South Carolina (3-7, 1-7 SEC) when they erased a 30-3 halftime deficit to win 31-30.

With the victory, the Aggies became the first SEC team since 2004 to win after trailing by 27 points. It ended up being the biggest comeback win in program history, primarily because everything went wrong in the first half. They managed only 132 yards, went 0-for-6 on third down, and committed three turnovers that led to 17 points. It looked like Texas A&M was charging full steam ahead toward its first loss of the season.

A&M had different plans, and in their last SEC home game of the season, the Aggies were not going to let the 12th Man down. The defense pitched a shutout, allowing the offense to score 28 unanswered points, with both Marcel Reed and KC Concepcion having career days. They also got big performances from redshirt freshmen Aston Bethel-Roman and Izaiah Williams, each scoring a touchdown.

It’s not the way Texas A&M wanted to win, but it shows how, as a team, they never feel like they are out of a game, regardless of the score. Even with everything collapsing during the first 15 minutes of play, A&M was not going to be denied the opportunity to move to 10-0 on the season.

Here are the individuals who stood out—and those who need to elevate their game after Week 12:

Stock Up: KC Concepcion

Even though Concepcion did not reach the end zone, he delivered several pivotal plays that set the Aggies up in scoring position. He also made an impact on special teams, recording 42 yards on two returns. Throughout the game, he was instrumental in giving the Aggie offense favorable field position. His 158 receiving yards marked a career high.

Game Stats: 7 receptions, 158 yards, / 2 punt returns, 42 yards

Stock Up: Ashton Bethel-Roman

With Mario Craver not at 100%, ABR—as he is known—picked up several reps and made the most of them. After a costly drop in the first half, he responded with an explosive performance, finishing with over 100 receiving yards and a highlight‑reel diving touchdown grab. This Texas A&M team is stacked with depth at every position, and ABR provided a glimpse of what the future will look like for the Aggies’ wide receiver room.

Game Stats: 4 receptions, 139 yards, 1 touchdown

Stock Up: Marcel Reed

A tale of two halves is what we witnessed from Reed, and after a disastrous first half, he looked like a Heisman candidate during the final 30 minutes of the game. Following a 16-yard scramble on a 4th-and-12 early in the third quarter, he was elite for the remainder of the contest. He finished 16-of-20 for 298 yards and three touchdowns in the comeback victory, marking a career day.

Game Stats: 22/39 completions, 439 passing yards, 3 touchdowns / 7 rushes, 13 yards

Stock Down: Randy Bond

Randy Bond struggled in a game where points were hard to come by, leaving little confidence if a future contest comes down to his leg. The low point came when he clanked a field goal attempt from inside 25 yards. There is not much else to say other than, as of right now, every drive that ends within a 45-yard field goal range might be considered four-down territory.

Game Stats: 1-for-3, missed 45 and 24-yard field goals

Stock Down: Dametrious Crownover

After playing solidly for most of the season, Crownover committed a few costly penalties that made several drives much more difficult. He graded out below 60 in PFF, and while he did not play terribly, he must perform with greater discipline moving forward.
