Texas A&M baseball lands commitment from a top 100 player

Texas A&M has added a 2026 commit who is one of the best players in his state and can play anywhere on the field. UTL Matthew Kelley, out of Henderson, NV, announced via social media that he will begin his collegiate career in Bryan-College Station.

He has an athletic player who primarily plays SS/3B with a frame that can easily add Division 1 size. He ranked as the No. 3 player in Nevada and a Top 100 recruit overall. In a time when coach Michael Earley needs big-time talent to pick up Kelley checks one of those boxes. He has a good swing and plays solid defense, allowing him to complete during the non-conference schedule to work himself into the lineup.

Kelley had a solid junior season that he can build on with a slash line of .393/.459/.532 with 42 hits, 20 RBI, and two home runs. He was also named to the All-Southern Nevada team by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
