Starr Western Wear also will sponsor the Rodeo this weekend at the El Paso County Coliseum.

Starr Western Wear’s Rodeo El Paso will take place Friday through Sunday, June 19–21, at the El Paso County Coliseum. Rodeo showtimes are at 7 p.m. Friday, June 19 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20 and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21. Tickets start at $36, excluding fees and are available at the Coliseum Box Office.
Cherry picking at Nichols Ranch in La Luz, N.M.
The Nichols Ranch and Orchards in La Luz, N.M. has more than 15 varieties of cherries for picking, including Rainier.
Have some dad and children bonding time by taking him to the 7th Annual Cherry Festival at the Nichols Ranch and Orchard, 236 Cottonwood Canyon Road in La Luz, N.M. Times are noon to 5 p.m. Friday, June 19 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 20, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 21.
There will be more than 30 food and snack vendors and more than 85 arts and crafts vendors, in addition to cherry-picking fun and cherry pies and cider for sale. General admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 11 and younger at www.nicholsranchandorchards.com.
Fresco: All Stars series
El Paso’s El Fresco music series returns to the El Paso convention center plaza this summer. The free outdoor concert series will be at 6 p.m. Fridays, June 19, July 17 and Aug. 21.
Treat dad to Father’s Day Brunch at Ámbar
Celebrate dad at a special Father’s Day brunch at Ámbar Restaurante inside the Plaza Hotel. The brunch will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21.
Cost: Adults and children 13 and up, $65 per person; kids ages 6-12, $32.50 per person. Kids ages 5 and under are free. Make reservations online.
Take dad to El Paso Chihuahuas
Enjoy a baseball game with the El Paso Chihuahuas on Toy Story Night Saturday, June 20. On the heels of the premiere of “Toy Story 5”, players will take the field in special Toy Story jerseys available through auction. The night will conclude with a Fireworks Spectacular. Limited tickets available online or at the stadium box office.
