Most of the city of Corpus Christi’s nonessential offices will be closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
All offices will reopen June 22.
The city departments that will be closed include City Hall, most public libraries, Municipal Court, City Call Center, Development Services and the public health district.
La Retama and Owen R. Hopkins libraries will be open to serve as cooling centers, but full library services will be provided.
Emergency and essential services such as police, fire and the airport will remain open and maintain normal operations.
The utilities business office will be closed, but customers may make utility bill payments online on corpuschristitx.gov or at any H-E-B location.
