Slaton Banana Pudding Fest returns this weekend. Here's what you need to know.

Thousands of people are set to roll into Slaton for a day of banana pudding, derby races and family fun over the Labor Day weekend. Here’s what you need to know about the Banana Pudding Festival, including hours and a lineup of activities.

The Banana Pudding Festival in Slaton is entering its third year, with the events starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 and ending at 2 p.m. The festival will be at 109 S. 9th St., in front of the Slaton Bakery.

One of the main draws of the event is the Puddin Pass, a $25 pass that allows holders to get 5oz servings of four flavors. This year’s flavors are:

People can buy the passes at theslatonbakery.com/banana-pudding-festival. Last year’s event served 6,000 cups of pudding.

Along with pudding, the festival will bring live music, food trucks, a foam pit, a car show, and pinewood derby races. Two Docs, one of Lubbock’s breweries, will have a German Beer Garden space and sell Slaton Bakery branded steins.
