The event will feature a tasty salsa contest and a Selena look-alike contest.
For those who like country, head on over to Speaking Rock Casino for a Travis Tritt concert Friday, May 29.
And then close out the weekend with some electronic music with Gorgon City at the Elmont Swim Club.

Speaking Rock Casino will have country star Travis Tritt in concert Friday, May 29, at the casino, 122 S. Old Pueblo Road. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Free.
Meet Chihuahuas mascot at Hooters
El Paso families are invited to come say hi to Chico, the El Paso Chihuahuas mascot, from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 29, at Hooters El Paso East, 1799 Joe Battle Blvd.
Kids eat free with one adult paid entree, from 5 p.m. to close. Kids meal choices include Kids Wings, Boneless Wings, Tender Chicken Strips, Mac and Cheese and a Hamburger.
Hooters is a proud sponsor of the El Paso Chihuahuas, a Triple-A affiliate of the Padres.
Make plans for Selena & Salsa Market
The Selena & Salsa Market, a vibrant, family-friendly event, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, in the Union Plaza, 117 Anthony St. in Downtown El Paso.
The event will feature live music, Selena-inspired vendors, a salsa-tasting competition, and unique shopping experiences. One of the event’s highlights is the Selena Look-Alike Competition, where fans can showcase their best Selena-inspired style for a chance to win prizes.
Railroad Museum tour
The Railroad Museum and the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society along with Rio Grande Trails and Tales will commemorate the arrival of five great railroads in El Paso Saturday, May 30.
Take a tour back in time starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Union Passenger Station, 700 W. San Francisco Ave. Parking is in front of the station. The tour will go about 10-15 blocks. Wear sunscreen, hat and comfortable shoes and bring a liter of water. There will be an optional no-host lunch at Mac’s Seafood Restaurant, 315 E. Mills Ave.
915 Cards & Collectibles Show
Celebrate 915 Cards & Collectibles one year anniversary with a show from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Radisson Hotel, 1770 Airway Blvd. Free admission. Attendees will discover a huge variety of Pokémon cards, sports cards, and rare collectibles.
Elmont to feature Gorgon City
The Elmont is ending May with a performance by nationally recognized electronic artist Gorgon City on Sunday, May 31, at 240 W. Castellanos Drive. Doors open at 4 p.m. Tickets are available at elmontsocial.com.
