Salter makes case for liberty, promotes book at Texas Tech FMI event

Alexander William Salter spoke on the need for a return to liberty in American politics and policy and also signed copies of his recent book on that topic Tuesday during an event hosted as part of the Texas Tech University Free Market Institute’s Public Speaker Series.

The event, titled after his 2023 book “The Spirit of ’76: Libertarianism and American Renewal,” was hosted at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion

Salter is the Georgie G. Snyder Professor of Economics in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech and the Comparative Economics Research Fellow at TTU’s Free Market Institute.

He is also a member of the Avalanche-Journal editorial board.
