A $6,000 reward is now being offered for information that will help homicide detectives identify the person who shot and killed a 61-year-old man at a home earlier this month in central Lubbock.
At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the July 15 shooting death of Richard Paul at a central Lubbock residence.
Patrol officers responding to an 11:08 p.m. report of shots fired in the 5000 block of 38th Street found Paul suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a police news release.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, the release states.
The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
A $5,000 reward was initially offered through Crime Line.
Anyone with information that leads to the identification, arrest or conviction of a suspect in the case can call Crime Line at 806-741-1000. Callers can remain anonymous.
