An upcoming Post Malone concert in El Paso appears to be canceled after the artist announced he is delaying his stadium tour and shared an updated list of tour dates that no longer includes the city.
Post Malone announced on Instagram that he is pushing back his upcoming tour by about three weeks, citing the need to finish new music before hitting the road.
In a statement shared to his Instagram Stories on Friday, May 1, the artist said that after reviewing the schedule following Stagecoach, a country music festival held in California, it became clear that the tour timeline “isn’t really lining up.” He said he had promised fans new music but did not have enough time to complete it before the tour began.
“We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done,” he wrote.
Along with the message, Post Malone shared an updated tour poster for his “Big Ass Stadium Tour,” featuring Jelly Roll and Carter Faith. The updated list of dates no longer includes an El Paso stop, which had appeared on earlier versions of the tour schedule circulated online.
Post Malone ticket refund info
The Ticketmaster sales page for the El Paso concert lists the event as canceled. The page states that refunds will be issued automatically to the original payment method once funds are received from the event organizer and should appear within 14 to 21 days. According to the notice, if tickets are transferred, refunds will go to the fan who originally purchased them.
Post Malone tour faces reported ticket sales challenges
The changes come amid reporting from several music‑industry and local news outlets noting slow ticket sales at some stadium tour stops.
Widespread ticket availability at multiple venues was reported by Digital Music News, which cited seating charts and pricing data that showed large sections unsold in the weeks leading up to the tour.
The cancellation of a Waco tour stop was reported by The Baylor Lariat, which said the decision followed speculation about low ticket sales, though no official reason was given.

Post Malone did not cite ticket sales as a reason for the schedule changes. In his Instagram statement, he apologized to fans planning to attend the “few canceled shows” and said he was focused on completing new music before returning to tour.
