Nominations are now open for the Amarillo Globe-News 2026 Man and Woman of the Year, which are being presented by FirstBank Southwest. The honors also include Headliners and Citizens on the Move awards.
The annual awards have honored members of the community over the years to highlight their positive contributions and lasting impact in Amarillo, with the Globe-News’ highest honor and other accolades.
Nominations need to be submitted by email to newmedia@amarillo.com.
They should include the name of the nominee and person nominating them, a brief description of the nominee’s contributions to the community, and contact information for both the nominee and nominator.
Submissions are due by Sept. 13.
Details about an in-person event celebrating this year’s winners will be announced soon.
