Veribest held its 11th annual Falcon Fest high school volleyball tournament last week, with a total of 16 local Concho Valley teams competing against each other.
Last year, Sonora took home the championship after downing San Angelo Central’s junior varsity 25-21, 25-13.
This year, the home team, Veribest Lady Falcons, advanced to the gold bracket championship game to face off against Miles.
It was Miles, though, who came out on top, beating the Lady Falcons in two sets, 25-16, 25-21.
