One of Lubbock’s Long John Silver’s restaurants is officially back in business after the building was torn down, according to a company news release issued Friday.
The Long John Silver’s location at 1101 50th St. was previously torn down, then built anew, according to the company. The restaurant officially reopened Friday with a fresh look and new technology.
“We are excited to welcome guests back to our Lubbock location,” said Tracy Brown, regional director of operations, Mid-Plains Region, Long John Silver’s, in the release. “While we have a new look, we remain dedicated to delivering the fan-favorite menu guests know and love.”
The new building has all new furniture and artwork, along with digital menu boards and upgrades to ease dine-in, carry-out, and mobile orders.
“Our True North restaurant design blends our heritage with our commitment to delivering fresh food and an outstanding guest experience,” said Leigh Ann VanDam, vice president of design and development at Long John Silver’s. “The new Lubbock restaurant features a modern look with nods to our love of the sea. From the fresh design to upgraded technology to simplify ordering, we created a welcoming space for guests.”

The hours for this location are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
