There was no winning ticket for the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, meaning the grand prize will continue to climb. The Powerball jackpot will grow to $856 million after no one matched every number in the Wednesday, Aug. 5, drawing.
The winning numbers on Wednesday were 14, 20, 59, 60 and 61. The Power Ball was 25 and the Power Play was 2x. The jackpot was $794 million. While one ticket purchased in Ohio matched five numbers to win $1 million, no ticket won the jackpot.
That means the next drawing will be worth at least $856 million — or cash value of $372 million.
