In-N-Out near me: How far you'll have to travel from El Paso to visit the fast food chain

While El Paso has its share of savory burger spots, like Rosco’s Burger Inn and highly-rated Orange Cow Burgers, many have wondered why the Borderland has been overlooked by one popular burger chain.

Known for its simple, affordable menu, In-N-Out Burger has more than 400 locations across the country, including more than 40 in Texas, yet not one has popped up in the Sun City. Most restaurants in Texas are found in the central and eastern parts of the state, such as Dallas, Austin and Houston.

The Dallas area has the most In-N-Out locations in Texas, with a whopping 24 stores.

El Pasoans would have to travel more than 500 miles to get their hands on a ‘double double’ combo in the Lone Star State, but there’s a closer spot — in Tucson, Arizona.

Tucson has a total of seven restaurants to choose from, according to In-N-Out’s location finder.

You’ll have to venture along Interstate 10 and through Deming, New Mexico, to get there, and the trip would take you about 4-and-a-half hours.

In-N-Out coming to Albuquerque

Some new stores are in the works that will make travel time even shorter after In-N-Out announced in May that the chain would be opening in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2027.

The restaurants would be located near the University of New Mexico and by the Cottonwood Mall, according to news affiliate KOB 4.

These new locations would mean that you’ll have to travel about 279 miles — or just under four hours.
