The news has been out for a while now, and Texas A&M fans are learning more about new head coach Bucky McMillan every day. Some of the more interesting tidbits have come from coaches like Bill Self and new NC head coach Will Wade.
The common theme is that he is a talented coach who plays an up-tempo style of play that puts pressure on opponents. It’s been branded as “Bucky Ball” and is a stark difference from what Aggie fans have been accustomed to over the last half-decade. There have been some questions about whether McMillan’s system will work at this level, and coach Wade has no doubt “Bucky Ball” will work wherever he goes.
“I told everybody when he got the job, I don’t know how it’s gonna work, but I promise you he’s gonna win and win big there.”
He also put Samford fans on notice last season that, unfortunately for them, coach McMillan would eventually make it to a Power conference.
” When he leaves Samford and goes to a higher level, which he will, he’s going to be able to win doing the exact same thing”
There is a new era of Aggie basketball coming to Bryan-College Station, and the fans should be excited for it.
McNeese head coach Will Wade with a great answer (minus one small part) about his connection w/ @BuckyBasketball.

Not. Done. Yet.
