The Abilene Chamber of Commerce is to host the Children’s Business Fair on July 11, an opportunity for young Abilene entrepreneurs to learn new skills and experience what it’s like to run a business.
Held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mall of Abilene, 4310 Buffalo Gap Road, the event is open to ages 6 to 14 and invites kids to create and develop their own product or service to then market at the business fair.
Sponsored by the Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union, the event aims to empower youth and creativity and inspire the next generation of local business leaders.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, money management, and customer service.
The chamber of commerce also invites the community to attend the fair and support Abilene’s young entrepreneurs and shop their one-of-a-kind creations.
The event is free to attend and participate in, and more information and registration can be found here. The registration deadline for the event is June 30.
