El Paso boxer Stephanie Han will defend her WBA lightweight title vs. Holly Holm on Saturday, Jan. 3, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Han will be making her second defense of her world title.
Han won the WBA title in February against Hannah Terlep with a first-round knockout at the El Paso County Coliseum in February of 2025, then defended against Paulina Angel in August in a decision win in Orlando, Florida.
Han and Holm are scheduled to fight 10 three-minute rounds.

The Han vs. Holm will stream live globally as part of the DAZN subscription package. The main event features a featherweight clash between Puerto Rican star Amanda Serrano and San Antonio’s Reina Tellez.
The fight card begins at 6 p.m. MT/7 p.m. CT.
Other fights on the four-fight program include Krystal Rosado vs. Tania Walters in a six-round bantamweight fight and Ebanie Bridges vs. Alexis Araiza in an eight-round bantamweight fight.
Who is Stephanie Han’s opponent, Holly Holm?
The 44-year-old Holm is a former welterweight boxing champion and former UFC bantamweight champion. She carries a 34-2-3 record into the fight. In her last fight in June of this year, she defeated Yolanda Vega by 10-round decision.
Han’s thoughts on her second title defense
“This is an opportunity of a lifetime,” Han said. “To fight a great fighter like Holly Holm is amazing. I have a great deal of respect for her. I’m prepared, I’m ready to defend my title.”
