Former Texas A&M offensive lineman inks new deal with New York Giants

Among a chaotic trend of offseason transactions across the NFL, the New York Giants announced the franchise has agreed to terms with a former Texas A&M offensive tackle, pending a physical.

Per the Giants’ press release, Jermaine Eluemunor will return to New York if he passes his physical exam. The 6-foot-4, 338-pound tackle started in 13 contests for the Aggies from 2015-2016, before being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, where he started 17 games before being traded to the New England Patriots. After two seasons in New England with only eight starts, his stint with the Las Vegas Raiders put him on the map as a starting tackle in the league.

According to his agent David Mulugheta, New York is re-signing Eluemunor to a three-year, $39 million deal that includes $26 million guaranteed. He will remain with the Giants under new head coach John Harbaugh and will protect second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart, who had a standout rookie season this year.

Eluemunor is coming off his ninth season in the NFL, in which he played 1,088 snaps for the Giants. That was the most of his career and sixth-most among right tackles during the 2025-2026 campaign. He also finished the year with a 88.8% pass block win rate, which was the second-highest mark of his professional career.

He was originally slated to play guard for New York in 2024, but was moved to right tackle when Evan Neal was dealing with an injury. Since then, Eluemunor has not let go of the spot, starting 31 games for the Giants over the last two years.
