Here come the El Paso Bootmakers.
The El Paso Chihuahuas unveiled an alternate identity for the 2025 and ’26 seasons: El Paso Bootmakers presented by Lucchese Bootmaker. The new identity replaces El Paso Margaritas, last year’s theme, and celebrates the “Boot Capital of the World,” which the Chihuahuas say is El Paso.
Of course, this is partly apropos of moving merchandise, and jerseys, T-shirts and caps are now on sale at the Chihuahuas team shop and online.
Days when the Chihuahuas will be wearing their Bootmakers uniforms at Southwest University Park will be May 23, when there is a Bootmakers Boot Mug giveaway, Friday, June 20, and Friday, August 8.
Per the Chihuahuas, “The El Paso Bootmakers logo features a boot in the colors ‘Rust’ and ‘Hazel’ with the boot in the baseball swinging motion and features the threading needles craftsmen use to stitch boots. The logo will be featured on the jersey.
“The Bootmakers jersey is the color ‘Rust’, with ‘Walnut’ sleeves featuring embellishments found on boot shafts in the color ‘Wheat’. The El Paso Bootmakers logo is across the chest.”
