The Dallas Cowboys placed concussed cornerback Trevon Diggs on the injured reserve, sidelining him for at least the next four weeks.
Diggs suffered a concussion in a “home accident” Oct. 16, was placed in protocol and missed the Cowboys’ win over Washington last Sunday. He didn’t practice this week and was widely assumed to be out of Dallas’ Sunday game at Denver, and now he will miss the three games after that as well.
He will be eligible to return for Dallas’ Thanksgiving game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dallas plays Denver Sunday at 2:25 p.m. MT/3:25 p.m. CT on CBS.
