After years of hard work and dedication to their craft, many of the Big Country and Abilene area’s top senior high school athletes celebrated a major achievement on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
That’s when senior athletes throughout the Big Country and Lone Star State put pen to paper, solidifying where they’ll be competing in the collegiate level.
Wednesday, Nov. 12, has been marked Early National Signing Day for high school basketball recruits across the country, while also marking the earliest initial signing date for college prospects in a number of other sports like baseball, volleyball, soccer, softball and others.
The college football early signing period, however, runs from Wednesday to Friday, Dec. 3-5. The regular signing period for college football opens Feb. 4, 2026.
Here’s a complete list of all the Big Country high school athletes who have signed with college athletic programs on early National Signing Day (Nov. 12):
