On May 28, APD homicide detectives obtained a murder warrant for Excellent Vyizigiro, 17, for his involvement in the shooting. He was taken into custody that evening and subsequently booked into the Potter County Detention Center on a charge of felony murder.

Additionally, all three suspects involved in the incident are also facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon / mass shooting times 10, for each of the 10 victims who were injured, according to police.

On May 21, Amarillo homicide detectives obtained a murder warrant for a second individual in connection with the shooting at the Westminster Apartments. APD said Eh Gay Htoo Win, 20, has been in custody at the Potter County Detention Center since May 2, just hours after the shooting occurred. His original charges included unlawful carrying of a weapon by a gang member, tampering with evidence, and failure to identify.

APD said a murder warrant was issued on May 20 for Jame Htoo, 17, in connection to the incident.

As the Globe-News previously reported, two teens were killed and 10 people were injured in the shooting at a party early Saturday, May 2 at the apartment complex in the 2400 block of South Coulter.

According to police, a party that had begun at another location moved there after people were asked to leave the original location. Those individuals later followed attendees to the Coulter location, attempted to enter an apartment, and opened fire using a rifle-style weapon, according to police.

APD earlier said that its Homicide and PACE Units recovered two AR-style rifles believed to have been used in the shooting.

GoFundMe fundraisers have been gathering support for the families of the two teenagers who died, Deven Antonucci and Ezekiel Rudy Almazan.

Another GoFundMe is raising support for one of the 10 injured people who has been in the hospital for multiple surgeries since the gun attack happened, trying to recover and facing the possibility of not walking, according to the fundraiser — and he was having to speak to a neurologist about his spine.

APD said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional updates will be provided as they become available.
