Ohio High School Athletic Association postseason action for area student-athletes throughout Guernsey, Muskingum and Noble counties is in full swing, with plenty of noteworthy performances on area softball diamonds, baseball fields and track with local student-athletes primed for OHSAA regional action this week.
We’ve narrowed down the list and selected our nominees for our Daily Jeffersonian Spring Athlete of the Week for action from May 18 to May 23 during a busy week of high school spring sports.
Help us celebrate these hard-working local student-athletes by taking time to cast your vote for your choice for the Daily Jeffersonian Spring Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of May 18-May 23.
High school sports fans can vote in this week’s poll to pick their top performance. The poll runs until 5 p.m. Friday, May 29.
Winners will be announced on The Daily Jeffersonian website.
Nominations for Athlete of the Week can be sent to KSutton1@gannett.com by noon Sunday. Please include the athlete’s name, school and sport and a little about their accomplishment that week.
