Correction: A previous version of the Worthington payroll database provided incorrect position titles for some employees.
Local leaders and law enforcement officials were the city of Worthington’s highest paid employees in 2025, public records obtained by The Dispatch show.
City Manager Robyn Stewart was the top paid employee, bringing in $214,512 last year. Police Lieutenant Michael Holton was the second-highest paid employee, making $178,832, according to the city’s payroll records.
Founded in 1803, Worthington is home to more than 14,500 residents, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Earnings reflect each person’s gross pay, which includes their salary, any bonus or overtime they received as well as other benefits such as severance pay, stipends and more.
The Dispatch obtained the city’s payroll through a public records request as part of an ongoing series analyzing salaries across public, taxpayer-funded agencies in the greater Columbus area.
