District administrators topped the list of Worthington Schools’ highest paid employees in 2025, records obtained by The Dispatch show.
Superintendent Trent Bowers earned more than any other worker for the district last year, bringing in $284,313 in total compensation. Bowers has served as the superintendent of Worthington Schools since 2014, according to the district.
After Bowers, the second-highest paid employee for the school system in 2025 was Special Education Director Thomas Cusick, who earned $217,457, according to payroll records.
Approximately 10,700 students attend classes in one of Worthington Schools’ 21 buildings and programs, according to the district.
