Halloween is not far away and children don’t want to miss their chance to have a little fun and collect their Beggars’ Night treats.
The National Safety Council reminds people preparing for Halloween to choose costumes and accessories that are fire-resistant. It’s best to attach reflective tape to costumes and bags so trick-or-treaters can be seen in the dark. Another suggestion is to opt for nontoxic makeup instead of masks, which can obscure a child’s vision.
Here’s a look at trick-or-treat times and dates in the area, plus a roundup of other seasonal activities.
