LANCASTER — Clear skies provide optimal conditions for fireworks, so what is predicted for the Lancaster area this Fourth of July weekend?

Some towns are having their fireworks on Thursday night, July 3, where mostly clear skies and a low around 65 are predicted, according to the National Weather Service.

The Fourth of July in Lancaster will be sunny with a high near 88 and the night will be partly cloudy with a low around 67.

Saturday, July 5 will be mostly sunny with a high near 91 and the night will be partly cloudy with a low near 71.
