“Ohio couldn’t get rid of me just yet,” Blumel wrote on Instagram. “Excited and honored to start the next chapter of my career in Cincinnati, where I’ll be joining the (WCPO-TV) sports team!!”

Blumel starts her new gig in May, according to her WCPO bio. An exact start date was not listed.

The Arizona State University grad began her career in 2023 as a broadcast reporter for the Sun Devils’ baseball team while still completing her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. She joined Toledo news station WTOL-TV in September 2023.
