Signs bearing the Twenty One Pilots logo are mysteriously cropping up at Columbus music venues, and local fans are getting “Stressed Out” wondering what they mean.
Red and yellow banners announcing “FROM HERE” have been spotted at sites including the Schottenstein Center, Nationwide Arena, Newport Music Hall, KEMBA Live!, Skully’s Music-Diner, and The Basement.
The signs have folks scratching their heads over what Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph could have up their sleeves, especially since seeing the duo’s cryptic Instagram post showing the entrance to The Basement.
The prevailing theory on social media is that the Pilots will release a live album recorded when their “Clancy” tour came to Nationwide Arena in 2024.
As proof, one supporter noted that red and yellow was the color scheme for the “Clancy” era. Another used anacrostics to spell “Clancy” with the names of the sites mentioned above.
Others hoped that the signs allude to the pair’s return for another Tour de Columbus, a five-concert run presented in 2017 – interestingly, at five of the previously listed venues.
The least likely but most entertaining conjecture: “I say they have some transmitter in the signs and it sends a signal somewhere to plot all of the locations ‘FR0M HERE’ on a map.”
Industry insiders are keeping mum on the subject, with a Columbus venue spokesperson declining to comment. Twenty One Pilots’ public relations team did not respond to requests for information.
